Isabella Riley

ANALYST

Isabella earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, where she also balanced the rigorous demands of being a Division I student-athlete as a member of the UC Berkeley Women’s Swimming Team. During her time at UC Berkeley, Isabella pursued a comprehensive public health education. Her coursework included research projects on Azo food-dyes impacting environmental health, and nutrition policy work in California. She gained proficiency in research methods using R and Python and explored how social determinants of health impact population well-being. Her professional experience also includes serving as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health, where she contributed to a course focused on emergency disaster preparedness and response. Isabella’s passion for public health, teamwork, and continuous learning fuels her role at HELIO, where she’s eager to drive impactful insights..

  • Isabella competed at the 2024 Australian Olympic Trials, finishing in the top 20 for the 100- and 200-meter backstroke.

  • As a triple citizen of Australia, the U.S., and France, Isabella enjoys experiencing diverse cultures and perspectives.

  • She completed Swim Across America with her team, raising over $5,000 for pediatric cancer research and finishing first in a 2-mile swim across the San Francisco Bay.
