Isabella Riley
ANALYST
Isabella earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, where she also balanced the rigorous demands of being a Division I student-athlete as a member of the UC Berkeley Women’s Swimming Team. During her time at UC Berkeley, Isabella pursued a comprehensive public health education. Her coursework included research projects on Azo food-dyes impacting environmental health, and nutrition policy work in California. She gained proficiency in research methods using R and Python and explored how social determinants of health impact population well-being. Her professional experience also includes serving as a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health, where she contributed to a course focused on emergency disaster preparedness and response. Isabella’s passion for public health, teamwork, and continuous learning fuels her role at HELIO, where she’s eager to drive impactful insights..
Isabella competed at the 2024 Australian Olympic Trials, finishing in the top 20 for the 100- and 200-meter backstroke.
As a triple citizen of Australia, the U.S., and France, Isabella enjoys experiencing diverse cultures and perspectives.
She completed Swim Across America with her team, raising over $5,000 for pediatric cancer research and finishing first in a 2-mile swim across the San Francisco Bay.
